I have inherited the art of pottery making from my ancestors as a part of our family business. Since childhood I have grown up by playing with clay and giving them various shapes. As days passed my father has taught me the basics of this art, initially it took me a lot of patience and commitment to understand and learned techniques. My father Late Shri Fateh Ram Prajapat who himself was the master Craftsperson and State Merit Awardee had worked really hard to make me understand the intricacies of this art and trade. Gradually I horn my skills in this field with never ending dedication and love for the work. This art not only help me to earn my livelihood but also gives me an edge to curve out my imaginations and emotions in vivid shapes and sizes.
In my early struggle days I have also supported and applauded by Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce & Industry Jaipur, District Industry Centre Alwar and other Govt and private bodies. I also did efforts for poor and unskilled people to give them training with the cooperation of several Govt and NGO’s for their better livelihood.
I am thoroughly dedicated for the development of this art and putting all my efforts to carry it to new heights.
